About

The Right Step Dallas Central is an alcohol and drug addiction treatment facility that is located at 2219 W Euless Blvd in Euless, Texas. Treating substance abuse involves multiple stages of treatment through a recovery program such as that offered by The Right Step Dallas Central. This can include group counseling, individual counseling, outpatient treatment, inpatient treatment, and medically assisted detox, among many others. Treatment programs are based on the individual themselves and are constructed to suit each patient individually. Just as every person is unique, so should treatment programs and that is exactly what patients will receive at The Right Step Dallas Central.

If addicts do not obtain the right type of support and guidance, they may find treatment to be very difficult as the thought of sobriety can seem so far-fetched. At The Right Step Dallas Central, professional counseling and guidance are provided to all patients aged 18+, giving them the strength needed in order to obtain a life that is free of drug and alcohol addiction. By altering the patient's outlook on life through addiction treatment, they will be able to stay positive throughout the duration of rehab.

The staff members at The Right Step Dallas Central have a mission and that is to give patients effective and quality addiction treatment so that long-lasting sobriety can be obtained. The path to a positive future starts on a positive foot and that begins at The Right Step Dallas Central. Confronting addiction is a difficult thing to do, but it is the most important step in the recovery process. Through professional counseling during the patient's time in treatment, patients will learn coping skills and trigger management which is imperative to the success of maintaining sobriety.

Maintaining sobriety on one's own is extremely difficult, especially when the addict has tried to go 'cold turkey' on their own. This is because it requires medically-assisted detox in order to properly and safely wean the body off of the substance of abuse. This way the body does not go through sudden withdrawal nor experience harsh side effects. The Right Step Dallas Central can provide patients with all of the necessary tools, treatments, and resources so that patients have every opportunity to succeed in recovery.

I called Right Step when I knew 17 years and drinking and using Benzoid I was done. I went to detox and have never been at any treatment center before. I did not know what to bring or how it works. Of course I brought all the wrong things. I want to thank this place for allowing me to see how bad things were out of control in my life. First I want to thank Dr. Green. I don't trust Doctors and yet I put my faith in God and him. I want to thank Sandra, the detox nurse who I befriended. All the RA'S..were so caring and Annie my counslor read me like a book. It was a bittersweet experience but am an active member of AA MEETINGS got a sponsor, working steps and got a therapist. I only did detox there but i want you to know it works if your willing to work it. Clean place, food great and the other patience there in recovery help each other through a bad moment or day along with all the staff mentioned above. I'm coming up on 30 days and taking it all one day at a time. Even if you can only go through detox due to work or family you can do it here. God Bless

Great classes lovely ra's i wouldnt of made it threw the program woth how frustrated I got with my wana be therapist annie. Jackie krosty lauren and jimmy amd dr Grern who are all in recovery or know someone who is are awesome. My counselor said i was one of her hardest workimg students no negative reports until the topic of sober living came along i have a wealthy father who sent us away to boarding school when we were of trouble. And my husband makes great mo ey but weve had a lot of expenses dealing with prior cps amd legal issues we also were buying a house in another state to ensure my sobriety i know everywhere to find it in dfw i had been to one treatment center that was co ed really nice but i had female issues amd didnt like beimg cat called while im married also got kicked out cause im a criminal mastermind had spent a few months in jail and was sneaking marijuana in and smoking by myself on my walks in my state ots preacribed for my joint replacement and im in my early 20s i developed an opiate addiction after the surgery amd fell in to a deep depression when my pro sports career came to am end. Long storh short Annie is an awful counselor. I was honest and truly wanted to get better. She only recommend that's too nice of a eord pushed sober living on ppl who had the means to go. I didn't understand why no one respected her until i got my certificate saying i didn't understand the severity of my addiction cause i didn't wamma go to somw fancy sober living in Malibu with 2 kids a now husband amd a cps case and on bond. Great classes kitchen staff amd nurse staff are awesome ras awesome outside meetings great that one counselor had one familu session with my Dad not my husband onky because she wantes him to pay for sober living it was so rude. Other than annie tge newer counselors like Britney are great she did more counseling fof me than my owm counselor. They keep men and women seperate even at meal time which is good i saw a few roaches but its an older buildinh and everyonr hoarded food in their bedrooms That was the issue

As a client, here is the truth: I began my Recovery journey at the Right Step in May 2016, I left in June. When I was here I'd say 95% of the staff proved that they GENUINELY cared about the recovery and well-being of us all. I think there was one nurse that was unfriendly sometimes. I never had a bad experience with the staff but I didn't put up any fights either, I actually wanted to be there. Patty and Terri were great! As were the counselors. Shout to the other Bill W! The food was good and I never once saw evidence of cockroaches, rats or any other infestation for that matter. As far as the rooms? They aren't bad - but its not the Hilton. If you want a luxurious stay, go to a spa. If you want to RECOVER, go to The Right Step. Because of The Right Step I have stayed sober, with two slips, for 2 years. I would definitely go back if my life depended on it.

I work here and it is not full of rats or bugs--it is a good rehab that has client care as its number one priority.

TRS runs a pretty standard rehab program, about 5-8 "classes" a day, at least one of which is a standard 12-step meeting. Classes cover basic recovery topics centered around a proprietary program called "Positive Recovery": relapse prevention, goal setting, anger management, etc... There's not a lot of bells and whistles, then again if your serious about recovery you don't really need any. The DFW facility has been renovated since a lot of these negative reviews were written. It was clean when I went (no rats or roaches that I saw). The food is pretty good and most of the RA's are very nice and helpful. I can't speak for all the counselors but Alvin was very helpful and supportive. Dr. Green (the MD for this facility) is very attentive and competent. If you're looking for a nicer facility TRS has a much better campus in Wimberly. I've been to both, and would strongly recommend the Wimberly location over DFW. All in all its a pretty good program.

The staff was awesome! I never saw any rats there. Maybe a couple of water bugs when it rained, but other than that, the place was clean. Now, for the Frisco IOP location, the woman that runs it is delusional. I really didn't learn anything and I told her that and that I at least wanted to finish out the week, but she wouldn't let me stay. I did have a couple of very minor slip ups and had to sign a contract which is understandable. But she became very unprofessional very quick when I told her it wasn't working out for me. I plan on filing a complaint on her. I wouldn't recommend it.

I went there in the beginning of 2013. Dr. Green was superb and he is in recovery to so you can pull a fast one on him :) in all honesty the only one of the staff I did not get along with was Michael with the lame tattoos. I had a good group of people, but stay your distance of the questionable people and younger crowd. Back when I went there, the men and women were in the same group. As you guessed it during early recovery people were sneaking out and $(#÷×ing like rabbits. I met me ex girlfriend there, martha. We started to date 9 months after TRS and I quickly learned why you don't date someone in recovery. 2 years and 50k in credit card debt in which she opened 4 Crédit Cards without my knowledge. One person snuck in heroine and Overdosed but lived and so far of the ~40 people I went to rehab with, 6 people died from 2 months after rehab until now. Rehab is just a small battle of a enormous war. They shut down "The next step" which was a critical part of my recovery. The new owners did not see fit from continuing this intensive sober living environment. I say screw them. I went to Stonegate the second time I went to rehab... a lot more organized and it makes this place looks like garbage... sober for 3 years now.
